SUBSEA VALVES

BORVAL MANUFACTURING LLC has developed a series of valves suitable for subsea service. The design of these systems comes from those for topside service with the implementation due to the external pressure presence and customer requirements in terms of reliability, operability and material corrosion.

BORVAL MANUFACTURING LLC has dedicated a special division to the development of valves sub-sea since, even if the basis is the technology of the standard product, the problems and the technical solutions sometimes are completely different. The possibility to design and manufacture valve offers to BORVAL MANUFACTURING LLC to realize personalized solutions, to modify easily the data of interface and to optimise the design.

Also from a manufacturing point of view there is a difference between standard production and production of sub-sea systems, since the controls of the materials, the cleanness of the assembly areas and the testing systems are completely different. The manufacturing solutions adopted by BORVAL MANUFACTURING LLC for the design and the manufacturing of sub-sea systems keeps into account primarily the requirements of the customer and of the technical specifications that usually are different from design to design.

DESIGN AND FEATURES:-

Valves design to BS5351 (where applicable) and API 6DSS
Pressure containing components and bolting calculated to ANSI B16.34
All valves fire safe tested and certified to BS 6755 Part 2

All BORVAL MANUFACTURING LLC Subsea Valves are available in Full or Reduced Bore executions and in addition:

SW with or without pups, BW (schedule to customer’s requirements) with or without transition pups (class 800 and 9/1500 Floating up to 2”).

NPT, male or female execution (class 800 and 9/1500 Floating up to 2”).

All Flanged end valves are available in RF (125-250 RMS), FF, STOCK or RTJ (oval) and, as an alternative:

• BW ends (schedule to customer’s requirements) with or without pups
• HUB ends

Bare Stem, with wrench operator (where applicable and allowed by torque), with above ground or subsea gear box and with all types of actuators.

• All kind of inside claddings.
• All kinds of primers or final paints including outside coating by polyurethane (iansub) or similar.
